Contains macro & microelements as described previously by Ronald de Fossard, and re-posted in a carnivorous plant community (Labflytrab.com 13 Apr 2010). This medium has a low ionic strength in comparison with e.g. MS medium and has been tested for several Nepenthes species, e.g. N. diatas has been mentioned.
This modification additionally contains vitamins as described by Murashige & Skoog.
Please notice: Due to the low concentration of divalent cations, this formulation is not compatible with Gellan. It is recommended to use Agar to obtain a solid medium.
