Riboflavin is a vitamin from the B complex. Various effects have been observed in plant tissue culture, such as the promotion of IBA-induced root growth in apple (van der Krieken et al. 1992) or increased anthocyanin synthesis in strawberry cell cultures (Mori & Sakurai 1995).
