Murashige & Skoog Basic Medium incl. Vitamins (without KI)
Also known as MS-Medium. A very popular standard medium which is used for a wide range of plant species. Contains macroelements, microelements and vitamins such as described by Murashige & Skoog (1962) except potassium iodide.
Iodine is not essential for all plant species. Through the use of iodine-free media, positive effects can be achieved for many cultures (Chee & Pool 1987).Dehydrated powder for preparation of a solution.
